CFT

Fitness Classes

At Home Stretch Physiotherapy, we offer community fitness classes for women at affordable rates so that anyone who wants support to be more active can feel confident and safe to participate in a relaxed atmosphere. Come join us at The Deep End on Tuesdays at 16:30!

Relaxation Techniques

Our bodies often go into fight, flight or fright mode when feeling severe pain, releasing a cascade of cortisol and adrenaline which only further ramps up the sensitivity of our nervous system. Learning to focus on our breath and/or engaging in aerobic exercise can counteract this by activating our parasympathetic response, which releases endorphins to relax the body and reduce pain.

Social Prescribing

We work hard to make connections and collaborate with other community groups that provide free or affordable support for any of your social needs. This includes counselling, support groups, career advisors, financial support, sleep specialists, befrienders, and more. Whatever you need, we can refer you to the right place.
